NEWSLETTER - 1.5.26 Yellow 6 For Ausm Awareness Week Y6 did a sponsored Sing-a-long! And loved the water play!!! We were so lucky to have another visit from Gwynnie Gwyn Gwyn from Positive Eye this week. Many of our children, particularly those with Visual Impairments, respond so well to Marvin’s Story Time sessions on YouTube and we even have a Positive Eye enrichment club every Friday. Gwyn McCormack has asked us to share her Summer Schedule, and you can sign up for these online sessions via this link: https://marvinstorytimeshow.co.uk/product/marvins-story-time-show/ If you would like to be part of our Creative Arts Support Team , we are looking for a few parents/carers/family members who could support us in making costumes backdrops and props for our upcoming performance of The Addams Family!! The performances are Tuesday 12 th @ 1pm and Wednesday 13 th May @ 1pm & 5pm. We need some costumes and backdrops made by 8 th May. If you would like to come along and help us in this project please come to school to meet Kay on Tuesday 5 th May at 12:00 midday or give the school a call . Tickets have already gone on sale on Parent Pay and everyone is welcome!! Creative and Arty People… WE NEED YOU!! Dates for your Diary 2026. ➢ May Bank Holiday (School Closed)- Monday 4 th May ➢ The Oaks Year 6 Open Evening- Wednesday 6 th May, 5pm. ➢ Musical Theatre Performance of The Addams Family- Tuesday 12 th May, 1pm and Wednesday 13 th May, 1pm and 5pm ➢ School finishes for May Half Term- Friday 22 nd May. ➢ School reopens for the final Half Term- Monday 1 st June.
